This week we spent so much time outside.  It was lovely.

Both girls love swinging.  Eleanor enjoys it most every way possible; normal, belly, spinning...

This week I was/am super sick so I didn't take any pictures.  All I have this week is a picture I stole from Michael's phone.  

The girls sneaked into Grandma and Grandpa's room to play.  Laurel is trying on Grandpa's reading glasses.

This week the bathroom has turned into a battle field thanks to some termites.  We are having to gut the whole thing.  So that has taken most of my focus.  Bye bye sewing time. 

On the bright side, Laurel is officially potty trained.  I finally got to turn off the 'potty alarms' on my phone.  Now if only we could get them night time trained.

Eleanor has gotten really into taking pictures and videos (especially videos) lately.  She would tell me to get back to work in the bathroom so she could make a video.

Laurel has decided to be a picky eater.  She used to be great and eat everything, but not anymore.  Usually, once she tries something she finds out she actually does like it and often she has to go through this process with the same foods over and over.  Last night, we finally got her to eat her bowl of tomato soup without bribing her with crackers after each bite.

This was another stay at home and do nothing sort of week.  There was more playing outside and babysitting for a friend.  The highlight for the girls was Grandpa Roy's birthday.  We decided to be silly and made him a cake out of Twinkies.  We covered it in fondant to hide what was inside and because Grandpa is curious about fondant since he started watching Cake Boss with the girls.  (Just a tip, don't make cakes out of Twinkies.  It was way to rich/sweet and really couldn't tell there were Twinkies in it.)

This week the weather has been so nice.  We have played outside nearly everyday.  One day we went to the park for a little while, which the girls loved.  We've been letting them pick out their own clothes most of the time and Eleanor usually picks a skirt.

I've decided that pantaloons are too cute and I need to make a bunch more.

I can't remember if I took any pictures with my camera this week.  I left on Wednesday to go work at Camp this weekend.  So this is the picture the most on my mind this week.

I miss them so much and can't wait to get back to them!

Laurel was so cute helping to make pizza for my sister's birthday.

The girls were supposed to be changing out of their 'night night' panties into their 'wake up' panties, but thought this was a better idea.  So silly!

A few moments before this, Eleanor was laying on her back holding her feet.  It was too cute, but she heard the camera so she moved.

This week was much of the same, except I caught this picture of my grandpa reading to my girls.  Can't get much better than that.

I only got a couple cell phone pictures this week.  Still busy and not fast enough with my camera.

I love seeing the girls playing with their aunt and uncle more.

On Valentine's Day, the six of us went grocery shopping, so this was my view for most of the day.

This safe was at one of the store we stopped at.  It was so huge, I had to get a picture of the girls in front of it.

This week has been crazy busy.  Unpacking, organizing, cleaning, remodeling...

Laurel wore her helmet any chance she got and was playing the broom as a guitar while singing and riding the fire truck.

Eleanor spent so much time looking at books.

So often a sleepy baby who refuses to nap.

Hermiston had a crazy amount of snow, which is unheard of.  Michael's aunt and uncle got the girls sleds so they had a chance to use them.  Eleanor had a blast!

I'm a little late posting today, because we loaded the rest of our belonging into a trailer and left our house for the last time.  It was a bit sad, but we know "God has a plan."

I've noticed that Eleanor tends to play with toys a lot with her feet.  She also uses them to hold books.

Laurel is such a good helper.  She loves helping me fold hand towels and wash clothes.  This week she also learned how to fold her pants.

I just had to post this picture of Michael.  Luckily, I was inside the house, taking the picture through the window.

We took this as we were leaving.  Bye, Camp!  We will miss you so much!

I've been trying to be better about doing the girls' hair before we go out.  On Sunday, we tried two little top knots for Eleanor and Laurel got her piggy tails.  They were both super cute.

Sunday was Michael's farewell party for work.  Eleanor really enjoyed her frosting.

Laurel has fallen asleep at more meals than we can count.  I can usually tell when she needs a nap, but usually it is too late in the day or she refuses to nap.

This week was a mostly stay home week, though Michael and I did get a date night and on Sabbath we went to a Bible Bowl.

I was sure Laurel was going to fall asleep right there, but didn't.  I was a little bummed.  Though I personally don't like skeleton or bone/skull related clothing or items, these are her favorite pajamas, because they glow in the dark (hand me downs from my aunt).  I just found a hole in them, so I think I'm going to need to find some glow in the dark fabric paint and make her some new glow jammies without bones.

I love it when they spend quiet time reading.

It is really hard to take photos of the girls sometimes.  As soon as they see the camera they like to stare at it or be super silly and ham it up.

This week we finally got enough snow and nice enough weather to play in it.  (Sadly it only lasted a day.  It started melting the very next day.)  I've been waiting all winter to have a chance to let the girls play in snow.

Eleanor was so excited to make snow balls.

We even got to make the girls' first really snow man.  They were so sad to see that it fell over the next day due to the melt.

Last night, while I was deciding when I should try to go to sleep, I saw a facebook post from Petit à Petit and Family about a fun idea/project from Practising Simplicity called The 52 Project.  It is all about cherishing the everyday moments through pictures and choosing one picture to represent each week.  With all the changes and the rate the girls are growing up, I thought that this would be a perfect goal to me to undertake.  I just hope I can remember to take pictures each week.

Since I only found out about it last night, I didn't have very many moments captured, but these pretty much sum up today.  

The girls have been nearly glued to their Leap Pads since getting home after the holidays.  They got a Tangled game in their stockings for Christmas and since it is all about letters, I'm okay with them playing away.

Laurel is such a silly girly girl.  She loves dressing up, especially if she is supposed to be using the potty.  She added a hair clip, pettiskirt and backpack soon after this.

Well, that's it for today.  I'm hoping to put a post up each Sunday, so we'll see how that goes.
